A Feast of Beautiful Food to celebrate new Life!

Michelle and Darius decided to celebrate the arrival of their first born with all the special people in their life's. Friends, family, nieces, grandma's, grandpa's, aunts and uncles all gathered for this celebration of life.

What I love about this 'baby shower', was that instead of a theme, beautiful food took centre stage. As Marethe, the photographer puts it, it was a lovely(read lekker) crowd of people, the food was AMAZING and bags full of presents for mom, dad and new baby, exactly the way it should be.

And as Julia Child said "A party without cake, is just a meeting!' Well, this was definitely a party.
